Domestic Shipping
Domestic shipping is through USPS First Class Package Service. All items are carefully packed and sealed to ensure safe delivery. You will receive a padded bubble envelope. Inside, the painting will be placed on a backing board to prevent warping, and further sealed in a clear plastic bag to protect from abrasion.
International Shipping
Many countries expect the buyer to pay customs duty on certain internationally shipped items. These fees are levied by the respective government and are borne by the buyer at the point of delivery. These fees are not included in the item price or shipping cost. Please contact your post office for information.
Help! My painting arrived damaged :-(
I am *so* sorry if this ever happens to you! Please don't panic. Take pictures of the damaged shipment and packaging, and contact me immediately. I will work with you to get you a brand new painting.
Care instructions
I paint on 100% acid-free, no animal by-products, cotton paper (140lb cold-pressed) manufactured by Arches, France or Fabriano Artistico, Italy. With proper care, your painting will last for ages.
I recommend archival mat and glass for your frame. The mat opening size is typically 0.5" less than the painting size both width and lengthwise. For example, an 8x10" painting should use a mat with a 7.5x9.5" opening.
Watercolors shouldn't be exposed to direct sunlight or subject to wild temperature swings.
How does copyright work?
Ownership of a painting does not transfer the copyright to the buyer of that work. The copyright remains exclusively mine. All my artwork is discreetly signed on the front and back.
